Element 8 Entertainment

About

The partners at Element 8 came together after working in creative and senior executive posts at leading entertainment companies and studios, including HBO, Sony, ABC, Disney, DIRECTV and Amuse.  The decision to combine their extensive portfolios in the creation of a new company was based on a shared belief in originality and versatility in storytelling, while taking a global perspective to production and distribution.  The first two series to emerge from the partnership, MISS SCARLET AND THE DUKE  and CLEAN SWEEP, are reflective of that vision.

At a time of great change and evolution in the entertainment business, Element 8 stays focused on the power of stories well told.  The company looks beyond borders to source authentic, fresh ideas and collaborate seamlessly with third party production and post houses across the globe. The result is compelling, story-driven content to meet the demands of a discriminating television audience.  Element 8 is committed to supporting and creating opportunities for writers, directors, IP creators and producers to effectively compete in a global marketplace and get projects distributed to all forms of media. Based in Los Angeles, with a deep understanding of the ever-evolving distribution landscape, Element 8 is uniquely positioned to respond to buyers’ needs by delivering compelling content for their expanding platforms.
